CHAPLAIN PASTORAL CARE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Our Chaplain Pastoral Care Program of study is designed to prepare individuals to rightly divide the word of God, prepare and deliver lessons and sermons, and perform ministry ordinances supporting individuals and families in the community and through difficult or crisis situations from a Christian foundation. The participant must complete all required courses with the minimum of 85 grade average for each course. The participant must complete all required reading and submit all required assessments. The participant must complete the minimum of 80 practicum hours at an approved location or facility and not miss no more than 20% lecture hours. A certificate of completion will be given to each individual who completes all requirements.
*To receive a chaplain certification and a one-time membership with the Association of Professional Chaplain (APC), the individual must successfully pass a final panel interview and complete all required payments for the program. (APC renewal fees are not included)
*To be licensed as a minister, the candidate must complete all additional required assignments, the individual must successfully pass a final panel interview and complete all required payments for the program.

Military Chaplaincy Track
This track is to prepare students to minister to families of service members in the military, retired or discharged service members and service members who seek outside support in chaplain pastoral care. If a student wishes to further pursue their career as a military chaplain, the student should make inquiry to that specific branch to learn the processes and requirements.

Prison Chaplaincy Track
This track is to prepare students to minister to persons incarcerated and families of the incarcerated. If a student wishes to further pursue their career as a Prison or Parole Chaplain, the student should make inquiry into Religious Programs at Prison Units and Parole Programs.
CPCPC Rehabilitation and Re-entry (Impact of Incarceration on Families)
Healthcare Chaplaincy Track
This track is to prepare students to minister to persons whose health has declined and to family of those whose health has declined. If a student wishes to further pursue their career as a Clinical Chaplain, the student should make inquiry into Clinical Pastoral Education Programs.
